Thousands of attendees took part in two days of health and wellness experiences, education, food, live music and more at The Kroger Wellness Festival at The Banks in Cincinnati last Friday and Saturday. Advantage Solutions teamed up with Kroger to produce the event, which included more than 175 experiences featuring fitness, nutrition and personal care offerings that focused on six core pillars of transformation: balance, move, breathe, care, uplift and play.

“Advantage was honored to play a role in bringing the festival’s mission to life and provide the community with education, food, entertainment and interactive experiences that will help them live healthier lives,” says Lisa Haubner, Advantage’s vice president of customer experience. “We are extremely proud to produce this festival to advance Kroger Health’s Food as Medicine strategy, and thankful for the opportunity to promote health and wellness with such a valued partner.”

Advantage also partnered with Kroger Health on the first-ever Nourishing Change Summit during the event. The summit was held Saturday morning, during which Kroger, alongside a host of health experts, encouraged food manufacturers to create more nutrition-dense, healthier products that still taste good.

At any great festival where there’s food, there’s music, and The Kroger Wellness Festival was no different with two free concerts: Barenaked Ladies performed on Friday, and Flo Rida “rapped” up the event Saturday. Other celebrities who appeared include football greats Peyton and Eli Manning; tennis legend Venus Williams; actress and co-founder of Avaline Wine Cameron Diaz; actor and professional wrestler John Cena; and celebrity chef Amanda Freitag.

We’re already looking forward to next year!
