Working at Advantage

IRVINE, Calif. ― Valerie Bernstein, executive vice president, business development and marketing, Advantage Unified Commerce (AUC), was honored with a Women of Excellence Innovator Award from the Path to Purchase Institute (P2PI) during the organization’s annual P2PILive event in Chicago.

The Women of Excellence Awards recognizes female brand marketers, retailers, agency executives and solution providers for their achievements in influencing shoppers along the path to purchase. The Innovator Award is given to recipients who have “created innovation in new design or redesign of products, services, category expansion, operations or branding,” according to P2PI.

Bernstein has previously been named a Top Woman in Grocery by Progressive Grocer and to P2PI’s “Who’s Who in Shopper Marketing Agencies.”

“Val has a very valuable and unique skill to really understand the intersection between a brand’s challenge and the ever-changing marketplace landscape that allows her to strategically have innovative and business-driving discussions with clients,” said Victor Lee, president of AUC. “She constantly pushes our clients and agency teams to think bigger and better while relentlessly focusing on effective outcomes and simplifying the often difficult path of harmonizing our offering across shopper, retail media, e-commerce and content with the spine of data, tech and analytics that support it all.

“This honor truly epitomizes her values, effort and passion for the industry and our work at AUC and we are extremely proud of this achievement.”

Advantage Solutions launched Advantage Unified Commerce earlier this year, combining the talent and expertise of Amazon specialists Beekeeper Marketing and eShopportunity, e-commerce solution provider Sage Tree and shopper agencies IN Connected and Edge Agency.
