NEW YORK  — Jun Group, an Advantage Marketing Partners mobile advertising company, has promoted President and COO Corey Weiner to lead the company as founder and CEO Mitchell Reichgut retires at the end of August.

Weiner and Reichgut have worked side by side since 2003, building Jun Group into an ad-tech powerhouse that reaches consumers on behalf of Fortune 500 advertisers and major media companies. Under their leadership, Jun Group turned a profit every year and grew steadily without outside funding. Private equity firm Halyard Capital purchased a stake in the company in 2015. Advantage Solutions acquired Jun Group in September 2018.

“I can’t think of anyone better to take over the helm of Jun Group,” Reichgut said. “Corey is a brilliant creative thinker who will do a great job leading the company. We have been close friends and business partners for so many years, and I wish him and the company all the best as they take this big next step.”

Also promoted are Mishel Alon, who will serve as COO; Leslie Bargmann, who steps into the role of vice president of client services; and Jeremy Ellison, who will serve as vice president of technology.

As COO, Alon, who joined Jun Group in 2014 after roles with Google, Ness, Intel and the Israeli Intelligence Corps, will oversee the company’s business operations, reporting to Weiner.

Bargmann joined Jun Group in 2014 as an account coordinator and has held a number of positions on the company’s ad operations team. In her new role, Bargmann will lead Jun Group’s account management and influencer marketing practices, with teams in New York and Boston.

Ellison also joined Jun Group in 2014 after previously serving as a technical consultant to the company. Ellison architected and constructed Jun Group’s first software development kit (SDK), which powers the company’s in-app advertising platform. In his new role, Eliison will lead Jun Group’s engineering teams on both coasts.

“Mishel, Leslie and Jeremy have each made innumerable contributions to Jun Group’s success over the years, and it gives me great pleasure to promote them into their new roles,” Weiner said. “I couldn’t ask for a better group of managers to help me lead Jun Group into the next phase of our evolution. It’s an exciting time to be here.”
