IRVINE, California — Global digital commerce leader and innovator Jeff Jarrett has joined Advantage Solutions as senior vice president of e-commerce growth and innovation. In this newly created position, Jarrett will develop e-commerce capabilities for the international Advantage and Smollan partnership, including Smollan’s markets across Asia, Africa and Australia and the Advantage Smollan markets in Europe. For Advantage in North America, Jarrett will head up innovation and product development for the Advantage Digital Commerce agencies.

Jarrett brings a track record building high-growth, high-profit e-commerce businesses for multinational consumer goods firms. As vice president, global head of e-commerce at Mondelez International, he set the vision, developed the strategy and built the capabilities and teams for what has become a $1 billion global e-commerce business. For the past two years he led the highly successful U.S. e-commerce business at Mondelez, delivering explosive growth and innovation while building No. 1 brands online including Oreo, Ritz, Trident and Sour Patch Kids.

Prior to this, he led and grew the global e-commerce business at Kimberly-Clark, building a $1 billion business globally. He also founded and led the company’s Digital Lab, an in-house commercial innovation hub that piloted new digital business models.

For his international responsibilities, Jarrett will report to Chief Growth and Innovation Officer Michael Smollan and in North America to Executive Vice President, Marketing and Innovation Michael Harris.
