U.S. consumers’ interest in international foods continues to grow, with exposure to international dishes at restaurants spurring in-store purchases, according to “Home Kitchens Go Global,” a new infographic by SMARTeam, Advantage Solutions’ consumer goods research agency.

While Hispanic food sales continue to lead U.S. shelf-stable international grocery sales, Asian and Indian food sales are the fastest-growing. There is also significant interest in South American, Central American, Cuban and African foods.

Parents are more likely than nonparents to shop the international aisle; nearly eight in 10 parents are interested in serving up international flavors to their children.
