IRVINE, California ― The 2022 Advantage/Feeding America Food Drive signals a decade of partnership with the largest hunger relief organization in the United States.
Since 2012, when six Advantage offices participated in a pilot food drive, Advantage associates and corporate donations of nearly $294,000, plus associate food bank volunteer activities, have helped Feeding America provide 3,383,000 meals through the organization’s 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs.
“We are proud of this 10-year milestone, working together to help the 38 million people in the United States, including more than 12 million children, facing hunger. These are our neighbors, in every county in every state, who are often forced to make daily choices between food and other necessities,” said Betsi Gijanto, executive vice president, people, talent and culture at Advantage Solutions.
